Free AML check for crypto wallets

Paste an address before a transfer or an exchange deposit. We check it in real time against the same AML databases exchanges use to screen incoming deposits, and every network gets its own answer.

The check opens in our Telegram bot and starts right away. Free, no sign-up, up to 10 checks an hour.

How to read the result

Every network gets its own row, and the headline of the report sums them up as one of three results.

Address is flagged in AML databases

What it means

At least one network declined the address. A transfer to it will most likely fail.

What it doesn’t tell you

Why. The databases give no reasons, and we can’t see them either. If a transfer is already frozen, read what to do about an AML freeze.

No grounds for blocking found

What it means

Every network answered, and none declined the address at the moment of the check.

What it doesn’t tell you

That the deposit will be credited. Databases update every day, and the exchange has rules of its own.

Could not check

What it means

Some networks didn’t answer, so there is no result yet.

What it doesn’t tell you

Anything about the address. Try again in a minute.

  • PASSED Every attempt that got an answer passed.
  • DECLINED The network declined the address at least once.
  • NO REPLY No attempt got an answer. As long as a network stays silent, the result can’t be green.
  • CHECKING Attempts on this network are still running.

Why we ask each network 10 times

Screening isn’t perfectly consistent. A flagged address is almost always declined, but now and then a single attempt slips through. Ask only once, and that may be the attempt you get.

So we make 10 attempts on every network. One refusal is enough for the network to decline the address. To pass, a network must not refuse even once.

One attempt 1/1 PASSED Flag missed
10 attempts 9/10 DECLINED Flag caught
Declined Passed No reply

Networks and address formats

The network is read from the address itself. You don’t have to pick a blockchain or a token.

Address typeRows in the reportWhat it looks like
EVM Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Optimism USDT on BNB Chain has a page of its own: USDT BEP20 AML check.

One address, 6 rows: each network is checked on its own

Tron Tron T…, 34 characters
Bitcoin Bitcoin bc1…, 1…, or 3…
Solana Solana 32–44 characters, base58

If an EVM address mixes upper and lower case and the checksum doesn’t match, it may contain a typo. The bot asks before it checks.

What you won’t get

Check right in Telegram

Keep the bot in your chats and send it any address: the rows fill in while you watch. The “Re-check” button starts a new check once 10 minutes have passed.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. No sign-up and no payment. Each person gets 10 checks an hour, so the service stays quick for everyone.

Why is there no risk score?

The databases don’t produce one, and a number we made up would hide what actually happened. You get a decline or a pass for each network. More on what a risk score is.

My address came back flagged. What now?

Contact the exchange or service that declined the transfer. Only they can see the reason and say whether a review is possible. What their support usually asks for is collected on the AML freeze page.

Why is one 0x address checked on 6 networks?

The same EVM address exists on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Optimism. We check each network separately, so a network that didn’t answer can’t get lost in the overall result.

How fresh is the result?

The check runs in real time. If the address was checked recently, the bot shows that result and marks when it was obtained. A flag is kept for up to 24 hours, other results for up to 6. You can start a new check 10 minutes after the previous one.
