Terms of use

Is Flagged? is a free AML check for crypto addresses, on the website and in the Telegram bot @isflaggedbot. By using it, you accept the terms below. The main one: a check result describes what the AML databases answered at the moment of the request and doesn’t guarantee what an exchange or any other service will do.

By the Is Flagged? editorial team · updated October 4, 2026

What does the service do?

The service checks an address against AML databases that exchanges use: Binance AML, AMLBot, PureFi, and TRM Labs. It shows their combined answer for each network: the address is declined, passed, or got no reply. It doesn’t disclose the reasons behind flags, shows no risk scores, and keeps no history of your checks in a profile.

The service is free and provided “as is”. We may change the set of networks, the way checks run, and the limits, and we may suspend the service.

What doesn’t the service guarantee?

  • a result describes the moment of the check; databases update, and tomorrow the answer may differ
  • a “No grounds for blocking found” result doesn’t mean an exchange will accept the transfer: that decision is always the exchange’s
  • the service may temporarily get no answer from a network, and the result is then “Could not check”
  • the service gives no legal, tax, or financial advice

We are not responsible for exchanges’ decisions, for delayed or frozen transfers, or for decisions you make based on a check result.

What limits apply?

One person can run up to 10 checks an hour. Re-checking the same address with the “Re-check” button becomes available after 10 minutes. A recent result may be shown again, with the time it was obtained.

The limits keep the service quick for everyone. Attempts to get around them, including through several accounts, are not allowed.

What isn’t allowed?

  • automated bulk checks, scraping, and getting around the limits
  • using the service to prepare or conceal illegal transactions, including probing for ways past exchanges’ checks
  • presenting a check result as a finding, certificate, or guarantee issued by the service
  • interfering with the service or the Telegram bot

If these terms are broken, we may restrict access to the service.

How do these terms change?

We may update these terms. A new version takes effect once it’s published on this page, and the update date is shown above. How data is handled is described in the privacy policy.
